Future Leaders Forum 2023
The Future Leaders Forum preceding The Rīga Conference, on 18-19 October 2023, is a great opportunity for the young leaders to debate issues concerning their peers, policy makers, academics, opinion leaders and security and defence practitioners. Participation in the forum and the conference allows young leaders to extend their networks, to challenge themselves and gain new skills. The hybrid format of this event makes it widely and globally accessible.
The Rīga Conference Future Leaders Forum enables participating young professionals to take an active part in discussions on the contemporary and emerging challenges to international security and resilience. Young professionals will share their views on leadership requirements in a changing world. Through panel discussions, they will have the opportunity to engage in conversations with field professionals, policy-makers, academics and thought leaders from across the globe. Participants will have an opportunity to present short papers and moderate discussions; they will also take part in a simulation game related to the themes discussed during the forum.
The forum will take place from 18th to 19th October, finishing a day prior to The Rīga Conference at the same venue, giving young professionals an opportunity to take part in the main sessions of the conference on 20-21 October.
