Summer school “Navigating Security in the Baltic States: The West’s Stance on Its Borderlands”

In 2024, LATO participated as a co-organiser of the summer school “Navigating Security in the Baltic States: The West’s Stance on Its Borderlands”, held in cooperation with the University of Latvia from 22 July to 2 August. The programme brought together international students from eight countries, offering a diverse perspective on security issues in the Baltic region.
LATO contributed to the development and delivery of the programme by leading lectures and discussions on Latvia’s security policy, NATO’s role in the region, and societal resilience. Particular emphasis was placed on understanding contemporary security challenges, including hybrid threats and the role of the information space.
