“Empower – Regional Leadership Lab”
On 28–29 November 2025, LATO organised the Young Political Leaders Masterclasses in Riga, bringing together 15 young leaders from the Baltic states, Poland, and Germany. The project has been implemented annually since 2020.
During the two-day programme, participants developed skills relevant to work in security, communication, and policymaking. The programme combined expert-led masterclasses, practical simulations, discussions with professionals, and public speaking training, providing hands-on insight into decision-making processes and strategic leadership.
Participants engaged with Latvian and international experts from government institutions, international organisations, and academia. The programme covered topics such as security and strategic communication, policy planning, societal resilience, and leadership.
The event was implemented in cooperation with the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung in the Baltic states.
