On 3 July 2024, LATO organised a discussion for members of the youth organisation YATA Latvia on the Azov Brigade and strategic narratives in the context of Russia’s war against Ukraine. The discussion was led by expert Vlad Vernigora, analysing the impact of information operations on public perception of the Azov Brigade and broader conflict narratives.
The discussion highlighted the importance of the information space in modern geopolitics, focusing on disinformation mechanisms, their impact on international audiences, and the need to strengthen critical thinking and media literacy among young people.
