Civil Protection Training in Schools
The Latvian Transatlantic Organisation (LATO), in cooperation with ResilEd, has launched civil protection training activities in schools across Latvia. The activities are organised based on school requests, allowing for a flexible approach and adaptation to different age groups, from primary to secondary education.
Trainers are being prepared using both Latvian and international experience. The training focuses on developing practical skills, including responses to crisis situations, basic understanding of safety, and individual responsibility.
In addition to working with students, support is provided to teachers, helping them address security-related topics in a structured and age-appropriate manner. The programme is being developed progressively, based on demand and practical experience in schools.
