Game “NATO Mission: Debunk Twister”
NATO Mission: Debunk Twister is an educational strategy board game developed in cooperation with NATO’s Public Diplomacy Division to strengthen media literacy, information resilience, and public understanding of NATO’s role in today’s security environment. Through interactive scenarios and discussion-based gameplay, participants learn to identify disinformation, debunk common myths, and develop critical thinking skills.
The game is designed for teachers, youth workers, NGO representatives, opinion leaders, and anyone interested in promoting informed discussions about media literacy, strategic communication, NATO, and information resilience.
How to Play
- Download the game materials.
- Print the game cards, the instructions, and the 14 Myths About NATO guide.
- Cut out the cards and familiarize yourself with the game rules.
- Use the game in classrooms, workshops, or discussion groups to strengthen media literacy, information resilience, and understanding of NATO.
By encouraging critical thinking and informed discussion, NATO Mission: Debunk Twister helps participants build resilience against disinformation while supporting educators, civil society organisations, and community leaders with an innovative educational tool.
