Training for Media Companies on Ensuring Business Continuity in Crisis Situations
From 19 to 23 November 2024, LATO implemented a project under which intensive training sessions were organised in Riga for representatives of national and regional media. More than 60 participants from all regions of Latvia took part, representing various types of media and institutions related to media regulation.
The training programme was tailored to two main target groups – national and regional media – and included a joint training day with the involvement of international experts. The content covered crisis simulations, lectures, and workshops on business continuity, cybersecurity, decision-making in crisis situations, and stress management.
A key added value was the integration of experience from Ukrainian media professionals and experts from Israel, providing practical insights into operating under crisis conditions.
The project was supported by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Latvia.
