Latvian Transatlantic organisation, supported by Georgian NGOs and youth, called for peaceful conflict resolution by releasing 2008 balloons on June 6 on Abkhazian border. On June 2-3, 2008 LATO Secretary General Sandis Šrāders took part in the visit of Baltic opinion leaders to NATO HQ, where participants from Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania together with representatives of NATO discussed current issues of international relations and security.
